Weddings

The Birchwood Hotel provides for an exclusive wedding venue with its own unique chapel, and facilities to cater for weddings groups from 50 to 700 guests. Menus vary from a filling breakfast, to a light luncheon or a scrumptious three course dinner. 

The Honeymoon Suite is complimentary on the evening of the wedding for the bridal couple with sparkling champagne and a gift. Full English Breakfast for the bridal couple the morning after the wedding. Use of the function room with a standard dance floor 5m x 6m. Room must be vacated by 24h00. Service included.

Breakfasts. Private or Corporate

Private breakfasts can be arranged in any one of our banquet venues. A minimum number of 30 guests is required to secure a private venue.

Cocktails

The Birchwood caters for cocktail parties up to 500 guests in venues of varying capacity. A minimum of 50 guests is required for any cocktail party.

Banquets

Five alternative venues are available for your dinner function. Venues can seat capacities of 100 to 300 diners. All banquets are seated at round tables.

Braai Barbecue

The garden adjacent to the Le Grande Conference center is the Birchwood boma area and serves a traditional South African braai in beautifully landscaped surroundings.
