Guests of the Metcourt Suites are accommodated in 80 elegantly appointed rooms and suites. Recently refurbished, all rooms are large and conveniently equipped with an interactive Pay-TV system, selected DSTV channels, radio, hairdryer, and fully adjustable air-conditioning. Metcourt Suites guests have full use of D'oreale Grande Hotel's facilities. All suites include a fax machine (on request) and hi-fi system
The convention-style Metcourt Suites has a total of 80 rooms and suites comprising the following: Classic Rooms: 56 twins and 7 king size bedded rooms, Family Rooms: 16 (Deluxe, with inter-leading doors), Premier Suites: 2 The Aventine Suite/The Palatine Suite, 1 Presidential Suite: The Capitoline Suite.
Classic and Family Rooms
Peermont Metcourt Suites offers 52 Classic Rooms and 16 Family Rooms (Deluxe). The rooms are furnished with two upholstered armchairs, a large
desk and coffee table. The bathrooms are en-suite and have showers over the bath, a dressing area and handbasin in a marble vanity. The family rooms have inter-leading doors to other family rooms. These spacious rooms offer a king-size bed, two twin beds and two handbasins.
Every room at The Metcourt Suites boasts an air-conditioning unit, Flat Screen TV (LCD), satellite DSTV (including South African radio stations), tea and coffee station, hairdryer, electronic laptop safe, electric shaver point, international dial direct phone and business-convenient plug points. The radio/TV channels range from SABC 1, 2 and 3, e-TV, M-Net and selected DSTV channels.
Premier Suites
The two Premier Suites are called the Aventine and the Palatine. They both offer king-size beds. Each of them has a guest toilet (off the entrance hall), a lounge, a four-seater couch, two large armchairs, a desk and a dining area for four people. There is a spacious dressing area leading into a bathroom with separate shower cubicle and a separate toilet. The bathrooms of the Metcourt Premier Suites boast two basins set elegantly into a marble vanity.
The Aventine and the Palatine Suites include a personal key-pad safe and a hairdryer. There is a wide range of radio/TV channels available: SABC 1, 2 and 3, M-Net, e-TV and selected DSTV channels. A telephone in the bathroom, a hi-fi music centre and two televisions are extra amenities.
The Capitoline Suite
Guests staying at the Presidential Suite can choose between two twin and a King-Size bed. The Capitoline also offers a guest toilet (leading off the marble entrance hall), which then leads through to the elegant lounge. The two large settes and three wing back chairs upholstered in cream damask are grouped around a coffee table. The television is set on a half-moon table against the wall. There is also a large mirror in heavy gilt frame hanging on another wall.
The dining room is to the left and boasts six chairs. The dining table is inlaid with red leather. On another side stand two wingback chairs with another chair behind a large desk. The Presidential Suite at Metcourt has an en-suite bathroom, the shower is over the bath. On the other side of the lounge of the Capitoline is the en-suite main bedroom. It boasts a large ottoman at the foot of the king-size bed. The bedroom is furnished with two armchairs, a TV and music centre.
